August 1987 The extension block demands the breaking down of Staff Quarters, the old science block and the cycle shed. The students, during their S.U.P.W. period, carried bricks for the building. The sisters sacrificed their kitchen garden for the new cycle shed. A mini-stadium of 3 steps for seating was built facing the play-ground.

31st October LTS Camp for our students, conducted by Bros Carlos and Felix from Delhi, the theme: "God, the Almighty and our Country"
8th -10th November Mother General, Therese Poulin, makes her visitation of CJM, Ambala. She is accompanied by her Councillors, Irene Leger and Teresa Bernal
13th November At the Interschool Skit Mela, CJM, Ambala wins the first prize

8th March United India Insurance informs students on "Fire Safety" through a film and talks
17th May Students visit Chandigarh to participate in the desilting of the lake. JM-Delhi becomes a Delegation with Gujarat, Goa and Kerala attached
12th-15th July Staff participate in the Orientation Programme for the"Colloquim"- a programme for improving education. This was conducted by Fr Gregory Naik SJ and Sr Rose George, our Delegation Superior
